The University of St Andrews commissioned Marts & Lundy to undertake a review of its North American programmes to further understand the opportunities and challenges in increasing its fundraising and engagement programmes in the region. Our UK and US consultants led an extensive review of activity that drives engagement from alumni, parents and friends of the University based in the United States. To compliment the qualitative elements of the work, Marts & Lundy carried out an in-depth benchmarking exercise amongst peer and aspirant UK institutions with active North American fundraising programmes to provide a more detailed picture of St Andrews’ performance and pinpoint areas of strength to build on as well as areas of improvement that St Andrews could implement to maximise engagement and philanthropic support from the United States.
